We think that technologies bring another dimension to learning.  At Shiphay, we are a leading school nationally in the use of ICT because we use a wide range of technologies to support children’s achievement effectively and help them to become independent 21st Century learners. 

We use both Windows and Apple Macs to give children as wide an experience as possible.  All classes have access to their own wireless computers available for in independent use and our curriculum includes website creation, animation, film making and making radio programmes.  We also use Nintendos, PSPs, PDAs and other mobile technologies to improve basic skills.  All this in addition to the National Curriculum requirements.
